To ensure the quality and timely execution of spring work, as well as to support farmers and aggregators, the Cabinet of Ministers is initiating the implementation of a number of state projects and investment programs.
Among the planned projects are "FSH-14," "KAPK," "FOTP-2," "Development of Breeding Farms 'Asyl-Tukum'," as well as programs for the development of seed nurseries and the meat cluster in the Chui region and Bishkek. Measures are also planned to improve water-saving technologies. These initiatives will be carried out through various financial institutions.
Bakyt Torobaev emphasized that thanks to the special attention of President Sadyr Japarov to agriculture, the following sources of funding are provided for the agro-industrial complex in 2026:
- 6 billion soms from the republican budget;
- 1.5 billion soms from a special account;
- 11 billion soms as part of the state investment project (SGI);
- 14.3 billion soms from capital investments;
- 9.3 billion soms within the framework of seven state support projects.
Thus, the total funding allocated for the development of agriculture exceeds 42 billion soms. The minister noted that these measures are aimed at supporting farmers and aggregators, improving irrigation infrastructure, and ensuring the sustainable development of the agro-industrial complex.
