Resident of Tyup Baktygul Mambetkazieva gave birth to a son at the age of 42 after having eight daughters
Baktygul was born on March 20, 1983, in the village of Kichi-Oryuktu, located in the Tyup district. She currently lives in the same village and is a homemaker. In Bishkek, she received an education in accounting.
Her husband, Elnur Sagibaev, was born on October 6, 1976, and holds a diploma in forestry, but is currently unemployed.
“My husband and I legalized our relationship on January 19, 2003. We have nine children in our family.
Here are the names of our children:
Ayjamal — born on November 4, 2003,
Beremet — born on October 14, 2005,
Toktoaiym — born on July 1, 2009,
Aisuna — born on September 2, 2014,
Khanbiike — born on October 29, 2016,
Jadyra — born on August 26, 2018,
Shahrizada — born on January 5, 2021,
Uuldana — born on June 3, 2023,
Ertabyldy — born on January 26, 2026.
Every childbirth was difficult, but I believe that each child comes with their own destiny. I have experienced all of this and am endlessly grateful to the Almighty,” she noted.
Her son Ertabyldy was born on January 26, 2026, at the Karakol maternity hospital: “This was my third childbirth, and it was done via cesarean section. The baby weighed 3 kg 800 grams. We were under medical supervision, and everything went well.
Now both my son and I feel fine. My husband and I are hardworking and try to raise our children as well as others do. There have been tough times, but thank God we have our own home,” she shared.
“As Kamchybek Tashievich noted, assistance for large families was supposed to start in the Issyk-Kul region from January 1. I am the first in Karakol to give birth to a ninth child; this has never happened before. We are among the first in the Tyup district.
Although there were talks about payments, our village did not make it onto the list of high-altitude areas. I don’t know why, as we live at the foot of the mountains. We do not have permanent jobs, and we hope for assistance from the state, as everything has become very expensive.
We are raising our children on our own, trying to ensure they do not lack anything. We are involved in milk separation and selling sour cream. We work tirelessly. It would be wonderful if we could receive support in some form,” concluded Baktygul Mambetkazieva.
