She calls for an investigation into the case involving the detained doctors accused of corruption
Oktyabr Erkayim, a public activist, has sent an appeal to President Sadyr Japarov and the Chairman of the State Committee for National Security Kamchybek Tashiev. She posted a video of her appeal on social media.
In her appeal, she addresses the situation concerning her grandmother, for whom guardianship was obtained by the doctors detained in connection with the case of illegal medical decisions and financial fraud involving property valued at around one million dollars.
It should be noted that in December 2025, the GKNB arrested six employees of the Republican Center for Psychiatry and Narcology.
They were detained on suspicion of organizing a corruption scheme involving forensic psychiatric experts who, for a monetary reward, declared defendants in serious and especially serious criminal cases as insane.
