The case of Larisa Dolina attracted significant public attention, especially considering that the good-faith buyer Polina Lurye suffered as a result of the fraudulent scheme. The Supreme Court of Russia overturned the decisions of the Khamovnichesky Court and the appellate Moscow City Court in this case. During the court hearing, it was revealed that Dolina refused to provide certificates from the psychiatric dispensary, citing her status as a People's Artist of the Russian Federation. As a result, the court granted Lurye's complaint and confirmed her ownership rights to the apartment.
