The Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic has made a statement regarding the incident that occurred in Chicago involving citizen B.B. The department reported that a meeting with the relatives of the detained individual has already taken place.
In addition, the Consulate General of Kyrgyzstan in Chicago has established contact with B.B. During the phone conversation, legal consultations and recommendations for further actions were provided.
Once the final place of detention for the citizen is determined, it is planned that the consulate staff will organize a visit for a consular meeting.
The department emphasized that the situation is under special control by both the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and the foreign institution, which are maintaining communication with the relatives and providing the necessary legal assistance within their authority.
