According to information, on November 30, 1999, based on a transfer act, this reservoir was unlawfully transferred to the agricultural production cooperative "Pakhary." In 2021, according to decision No. 28 of the head of the Ivanovsky ayil okmotu of the Issyk-Ata district, the reservoir was officially recognized as the property of the SPC "Pakhary," which led to the issuance of a state certificate for private ownership.
As a result of the conducted operational-investigative measures, this illegally privatized water infrastructure facility was returned to state ownership.
For reference: Daily regulation reservoirs were actively created during the Soviet period to supply irrigation water to agricultural lands. Their main function is to accumulate water during periods of surplus, such as winter or the rainy season, for subsequent use during dry times.
