Construction of a road through the cemetery. A deputy met with the residents of Novopavlovka.
At the meeting, the deputy first listened to the opinions of the people, then presented his point of view. One of the participants characterized the planned road construction through the cemetery as "devilish."
Aliyev expressed understanding of the concerns of local residents. "I came to you to hear your opinions. Like any normal person, I understand that no one wants their loved ones to be reburied. However, Bishkek is expanding, and with the increase in the number of cars, there is a need for new roads," he noted.
According to him, it is necessary to find a solution that will satisfy all interested parties.
Representatives of the district authorities reported that the akim is currently holding a meeting with the mayor of the capital, Aibek Junushaliev, on this issue. Residents of Novopavlovka expect that the mayor will soon visit the cemetery to finally resolve the issue of road construction.
It was previously reported that residents of Novopavlovka received a notification from the municipal territorial administration No. 106 regarding the construction of a road on Profsoyuznaya Street. The MTU noted that two options are currently being considered — through the cemetery or around it, but a final decision has not yet been made.
Residents of Novopavlovka have started a petition demanding to stop the demolition of the cemetery. The online petition has already been signed by more than a thousand people.
