At a meeting with participants in the electoral process of district No. 13, where repeat elections are planned, it was announced that some polling stations require repairs to their ramps. Representatives from the Central Election Commission (CEC), local activists from the Nooken and Bazar-Korgon districts, as well as law enforcement agencies and candidates participated in the discussion.

There are a total of 94 polling stations in the district, 90 of which have ramps; however, they do not meet current standards. The presidential representative in the region, Tilek Tekebaev, emphasized the importance of bringing these ramps into proper condition. “Voting will take place on March 1, and local authorities must create equal conditions for all voters. The issue of ramps is relevant, as in many places they do not meet sanitary and construction norms,” he noted.

Some ramps have too steep an angle, making it difficult for people in wheelchairs to move. In several cases, there are no special call buttons or signaling devices. In this regard, all leaders have been given instructions, compliance with which will be monitored,” the presidential representative added.

According to available data, out of 94 polling stations, 77 are located in educational institutions, 7 in municipal establishments, 6 in cultural centers, 3 in sports complexes, and 1 in a kindergarten. There are 904 registered voters with disabilities in the district.
