A musical about the fate of Suymenkul Chokmorov will be shown in Bishkek

From February 12 to 18, a musical dedicated to the famous actor and People's Artist of the USSR Suymenkul Chokmorov will take place at the Philharmonic. This information was announced by the Ministry of Culture.
The funding for the musical production has been provided by the ministry.

Information about Chokmorov

Suymenkul Chokmorov was born on November 9, 1939, in the village of Chon-Tash, located in what is now the Chui region, and passed away on September 26, 1992, in Bishkek. He is considered one of the key figures in Kyrgyz cinema and art.

He made his film debut in 1967, playing over 20 roles in various films.

The musical is scheduled to start at 18:30.
