Luxury train on the route Beijing - Tashkent will pass through Kyrgyzstan

A new luxurious railway route called "The Great Silk Road by Train" has been announced by the British tour operator Golden Eagle Luxury Trains. This was reported by the international travel publication Travel and Tour World in its article.

The duration of the journey will be 22 days, covering five countries: China, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan. The total length of the route will be 3,862 kilometers, starting in Beijing and ending in Tashkent.

The tour includes visits to significant historical and cultural sites related to the ancient Silk Road. In China, travelers will be able to see the Forbidden City, the Great Wall of China, the Terracotta Army in Xi'an, and the Mogao Caves in Dunhuang.

In Uzbekistan, the route will pass through Samarkand, Bukhara, and Khiva—cities that played a key role in the history of the Silk Road and are listed as UNESCO World Heritage Sites.

Additionally, the program includes various activities such as camel riding in the Gobi Desert and a private flight to Almaty.

Currently, the company's official materials do not specify which cities and stations in Kyrgyzstan the train will pass through and where the stops will be located.

The cost of participating in this unique journey starts from $50,700 per person based on double occupancy. This amount includes accommodation, meals, excursions, transfers, and insurance.

The first departure is scheduled for the period from September 21 to October 12, 2026.
