According to reports from the Ministry of Transport, in 2025, the total number of cashless payments using QR codes at the "Sosnovka" and "Kara-Kul" checkpoints amounted to 300 million 266 thousand 484 soms. This figure is 35.48 percent higher than in the same period last year.

The Ministry notes that thanks to improvements in the system and enhanced control, the share of cashless transactions has significantly increased. Currently, 98 percent of all payments are made cashless.

“This approach has helped reduce the influence of the human factor and eliminate corruption risks. In addition, projects to expand traffic lanes have been successfully implemented at the "Sosnovka" and "Kara-Kul" checkpoints. The construction of additional lanes at the "Sosnovka" checkpoint has been completed, and at "Kara-Kul," work aimed at improving capacity and ensuring the roadway meets necessary technical requirements was fully completed in 2025.

Servers and software for information systems are regularly updated, ensuring their stable and uninterrupted operation,” the message emphasizes.
