These efforts have allowed 60,000 subscribers to be connected to gas supply, which accounts for nearly 300,000 residents of the country.
Since the beginning of 2025, gasification has covered the residential areas of "Bakay-Ata" and "Tokoldosh" in the capital, and has also been completed in the village of Novopavlovka in the Chui region, where work has begun on the gasification of the village of Novopokrovka.
In 2026, it is planned to complete the gasification project in Novopokrovka, and if additional funds are available, construction work may begin in the residential area of "Ak-Bosogo." This year, project and survey works will also be completed in residential areas such as "Enesai," "Birimdik," "69 GA," as well as in the villages of Selektsionnoe, Orok, and Sarban.
According to Aldayev, all three gas distribution stations are currently being actively used to supply Bishkek. However, to increase the gas supply to the southwestern part of the city, where a new stadium is being built and a new CHPP-2 is planned, the reconstruction of the "Malovodnoe" station needs to be completed. After its upgrade, the station's capacity will increase nearly ninefold. The project, which costs 2 billion soms, is expected to be completed in 2027.
