At a meeting of the permanent commission of the Bishkek City Council, Ulanbek Beyshenbaev, the director of the Department of Transport and Development of Road Transport Infrastructure, announced that the preferential card "Tulpar" will be confiscated from those who transfer it for use by other individuals.

During the discussion, deputy Emir Marlisbekov raised the issue of how the problem of fare evaders in public transport is being addressed.

In response, Ulanbek Beyshenbaev spoke about the actions of controllers who, together with the police, identify "freeloaders." He also mentioned cases of abuse of the "Tulpar" preferential cards, such as when a 70-year-old daughter uses her 90-year-old mother's card.

In such situations, the cards are confiscated and will no longer be issued.
