In January 2026, two raids were conducted by specialists from the internal affairs department and other relevant services in the Lenin district of Bishkek. These activities were part of a preventive campaign called "Baldar emgegi" and "Selsayak," as reported by the press service of the mayor's office.

The main objective of these raids was to prevent the involvement of children in harmful forms of labor, as well as to identify minors who were without adult supervision or engaged in begging.

As a result of the conducted activities, 18 minors were identified:
Of these, 11 teenagers were found in public places at night without legal representatives, while 7 were found during the day outside of school hours at workplaces.
All the kids were handed over to the care of their parents or guardians.

Official letters were sent to the residences of six teenagers living in other parts of the city for necessary measures to be taken according to the law.

Explanatory talks were held with 12 minors living in the Lenin district, as well as with their legal representatives.

The work on prevention in this area will continue.
