The Cabinet proposes to queue for apartments instead of land plots
At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Temirlan Aitieff raised the issue of the process of allocating land plots to citizens who are in line.
In response, the First Deputy Chairman of the Cabinet of Ministers Daniyar Amangeldiev explained that this issue falls under the jurisdiction of local self-government bodies.
He noted that the allocation of land plots is a complex task, as land resources are limited. In this regard, the government is moving towards the construction of multi-story buildings, and citizens are offered the opportunity to queue for the State Mortgage Company," he added.
Amangeldiev also emphasized that with the increase in population, there is a shortage of land plots.
“There is a land fund, and in case free plots become available, they are provided to the ayil okmotu,” concluded the Deputy Chairman.
