The Ministry of Health plans to resolve the issue of medication shortages within two months.
Dosmambetov noted that the company's efficiency in 2024-2025 was low, with only 60 percent of the medication deliveries completed.
“We have completely replaced the management, getting rid of ineffective management and corrupt schemes. Medications have been ordered that were supposed to arrive as early as 2025. At the end of December, a commission was established, and urgent measures were taken. The first batch arrived at the beginning of this week and is undergoing registration. Medications for cancer patients and newborns are already being distributed to hospitals,” the minister added.
He also emphasized that within the next two months, all medical institutions will be supplied with the necessary medications.
Earlier, the minister had already mentioned the crisis situation in "Kyrgyzpharmacia," highlighting internal management issues such as ineffective leadership, conflicts of interest, and the involvement of former leaders in schemes with pharmaceutical companies.
