In 2026, a waste processing plant will be built in Osh, similar to the one already existing in the capital. This information was announced by Daniyar Amangeldiev, the First Deputy Chairman of the Government, at one of the meetings of the Jogorku Kenesh.
He also reported that a corresponding agreement has already been signed with the investor.
“The investor will be provided with conditions similar to those in Bishkek. The completion of construction is scheduled for this year. In addition, an agreement has been signed with the Ministry of Energy for the purchase of electricity that will be produced at the new plant,” added Amangeldiev.
