A competition has started in the Kyrgyz Republic aimed at creating the design of award medals for the winners and prize-winners of the VI World Nomad Games. This initiative was announced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
Goals and Objectives of the Competition
The competition is intended to identify the most original design of medals, diplomas, and certificates that will comply with the approved standards of the Brand Book of the VI World Nomad Games.
Requirements for Award Attributes
Participants must provide a design for award attributes, including medals, diplomas, and certificates for awarding winners and prize-winners. The designer can only be the author of the submitted project. Works are accepted in both electronic format and on paper.
All submitted sketches must include calculations of materials and services for one set.
A unified style and neat execution. Display of national features and symbolism of the World Nomad Games. The sketch must include:
- An image of the front and back sides of the medal.
- An image of diplomas and certificates.
- A description of the design concept (up to one page).
- The feasibility of technological production of medals, diplomas, and certificates.
Procedure for Conducting the Competition
Applications for participation are accepted until February 10 of the current year. The competition is held in one stage: based on sketches with descriptions. The submitted works will be evaluated by a competent commission according to established criteria.Evaluation Criteria
Originality and creativity of the idea. Compliance with the theme and specified requirements. Artistic and aesthetic design. Integrity and aesthetic quality of the image. Winners of the competition will receive certificates and cash prizes, with a reward of 100,000 soms for the first place.
Additionally, the best works may be recommended for use at official events. Copyrights for the winning projects will be transferred to the Directorate and can only be used with their consent.
