
A competition has been launched in the Kyrgyz Republic for the creation of parade uniform designs for participants of the opening ceremony of the VI World Nomad Games. This was announced by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Competition Goals
The main goal is to select a unique design for parade attire that should incorporate national patterns, comfort, aesthetic appeal, and comply with the official Brand Book of the VI World Nomad Games.
Organizers
The competition is organized by the Directorate for National Sports under the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports.
Design Requirements
The design should include a headpiece, outerwear, men's trousers, and a dress made in a national style, featuring elements of the VI World Nomad Games branding. All items must meet modern aesthetic standards.
Participants must be the authors of their works. Sketches are accepted in both electronic format and on paper, with a mandatory submission of a clothing model made from fabrics.
Each sketch must include calculations for materials and services for one complete set.
Unified style, neat execution, and harmonious color combinations. Elements reflecting national culture and the symbolism of the World Nomad Games. Comfort and safety in wearing. Materials:
- Fabrics – natural (cotton, wool, linen, silk), breathable and pleasant to the touch.
- Fabric density – the denser the weave, the less it seeps through and the longer it lasts.
- Seams must be even, without skips or loose threads.
- External seams – neat, not pulling or skewed on the lining.
- Seams should not crack.
- Buttons, zippers, snaps (if provided) – securely sewn and should operate smoothly; zippers must be of good quality and not get stuck.
- Pockets – symmetrical and deep, loops should not fray.
- The lining should not be visible.
- Clothing should fit well and retain its shape after wearing.
- The label must contain complete care instructions and fabric composition, and should be neatly sewn on.
Competition Stages
Applications are accepted until February 10, 2026. The competition will take place in two stages: The first stage is a preliminary selection, where sketches with descriptions are evaluated.
The second stage is the final, where finished samples of men's and women's attire are presented.
In the final, the commission will evaluate the models based on established criteria.Evaluation Criteria
Originality of idea and design. Compliance with the theme and established requirements. Quality of materials and execution. Aesthetic appeal and integrity of the image.Awards
Winners will receive certificates and cash prizes. First place – 200,000 soms.
Additional Conditions
The best samples may be recommended for use at official events. Copyrights for the winning works will transfer to the Directorate and can only be used with their consent.Contact Information:
