The Central Election Commission (CEC) of Kyrgyzstan has scheduled a draw for tomorrow, February 5, which will determine the order of inclusion of registered candidates for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in electoral district No. 13.
According to information provided by the CEC, during the event, the ballot will be established, and free airtime will be allocated for state television and radio companies, as well as free print space in several state publications.
The draw will take place in the village of Masy, located in the Nooken district of the Jalal-Abad region. On the same day, registered candidates will sign a memorandum regarding their participation in the repeat elections for deputies of the Jogorku Kenesh in the multi-mandate district No. 13, scheduled for March 1, 2026.
In this context, a special representative of the CEC, together with the chairman of the district election commission and in coordination with government authorities and local self-government, will organize the following activities:
- in accordance with part 3 of article 3 of the Law of the Kyrgyz Republic
“On Commissions for Conducting Elections and Referendums of the Kyrgyz Republic,” premises, technical equipment, and a lottery machine will be provided for the draw;
- access to participate in the draw will be ensured for public observers and representatives of the candidates;
- the media will be notified in advance about the conduct of the draw.
