The growing population poses new challenges for the government
The Kyrgyz Republic continues to confidently develop its human potential. According to the National Statistical Committee, by the end of 2025, the country's permanent population will reach 7.4 million people. This corresponds to a growth of 1.5% in just one year, significantly exceeding the average figures of many Eurasian countries.
A unique feature of the demographic growth in the republic is its natural character: the increase in population is due to high birth rates rather than migration. Such population growth imposes new demands on the government, including the need to expand social infrastructure, create jobs, and engage youth in the economic life of the country, which is becoming increasingly younger each year.
