The U.S. Special Envoy for South and Central Asia, Sergey Goor, commented on the tightening of visa policies for citizens of Kyrgyzstan.
At a press conference, responding to a journalist's question about the reasons for the introduction of stricter visa requirements, he noted that such measures affect not only Kyrgyzstan but also more than 70 other countries.
According to him, these changes are aimed at combating illegal migration and strengthening U.S. border control.
