In Budapest, the book by Kyrgyz folk writer Sultan Raev, titled "Topon," was presented in Hungarian.

The collection includes the novel "Topon," as well as the stories "The Boy Who Caught the Sun" and "Kashaba."

This year, the novel "Janzhaza" was also published in Hungary, which sparked significant interest among local readers. Previously, only a few books by Chinghiz Aitmatov had been released in this country from Kyrgyz authors.

Sultan Raev shared: "Hungary is the homeland of such outstanding figures as poet Sándor Petőfi, Nobel Prize laureate László Krasznahorkai, and composer Franz Liszt. I am glad that my works have been published in Hungarian in a country with such a rich literary and cultural tradition. This is a great honor not only for me but for all Kyrgyz literature."
The novel "Janzhaza" and the collection "Topon" were translated into Hungarian by the renowned translator József Goretity. The book presentation took place at a high level at the Hungarian Center for Culture and Spirituality, gathering Hungarian literary scholars, public figures, students, and literature enthusiasts.
