According to information provided by the Press Center of the Ministry of Health, the discussion focused on key areas of joint work, including the development of primary healthcare, increasing human resources capacity, digital transformation in healthcare, emergency preparedness, as well as issues of antimicrobial resistance and mental health.
It was also noted that WHO recommendations and technical consultations are actively applied in Kyrgyzstan when creating national programs and regulatory documents in the field of healthcare.
Kanybek Dosmambetov emphasized the importance of the cooperation strategy between WHO and Kyrgyzstan for the period of 2024-2030, which will serve as a basis for planning joint initiatives. He highlighted the need for flexible adaptation of the strategy considering the current priorities and challenges facing the healthcare system.
Particular attention was paid to international and national health initiatives in which Kyrgyzstan intends to actively participate.
