A Resource Center for Children with Down Syndrome Opened in the City of Osh
This center will provide assistance to children, helping them adapt to life in society, as well as offering support to their parents.
The opening ceremony took place with the support of the public fund "Santerra-Yug," attended by Mayor Jenishbek Toktorbaev. He familiarized himself with the facilities of the center and spoke with the parents of children with developmental disabilities.
As of today, more than 300 parents from the southern regions of the country are registered with the "Santerra-Yug" fund, of which 70 reside in Osh. The center will organize activities aimed at the development of children, teaching life skills, and providing social, psychological, and informational support to parents.
Additionally, according to a bilateral agreement signed on December 11, 2025, with the mayor's office of Osh, the "Santerra-Yug" fund has been granted a five-year lease for a building with an area of 200 square meters, which has been renovated and prepared for operation.
