At the checkpoint located on the border with Kazakhstan, the situation with freight traffic has become critical — drivers report that they have been unable to cross the border for three days. Eyewitnesses have shared corresponding records, posting videos on social media.

According to truck drivers, the queue stretches for several kilometers and is not moving; some drivers are forced to spend the night in their cabins without access to minimal sanitary conditions.

“In the last three days, not a single truck has been able to enter Kazakhstan,” witnesses noted.

The Eurasian Economic Commission has already commented on the current situation at some sections of the border between Kyrgyzstan and Kazakhstan. Representatives of the EEC indicated that the delays are caused by planned and targeted border measures aimed at combating the illegal turnover of goods.

The Kazakh side added that these measures are temporary and do not affect the regime of Eurasian integration.

Meanwhile, new videos continue to appear on social media, illustrating the complete blockage of the flow of trucks. Drivers express concerns that the delays may drag on for a long time.
