The President commented on the changes that have occurred in driver training.
President Sadyr Japarov shared his thoughts on the reforms in the driver training system taking place in the country.
He noted that he studied at a DOSAAF driving school for six months, attending classes daily.
“We were taught directly on the cars, and questions were asked about the location of important parts — starter, radiator, battery, driveshaft. Currently, many driving schools limit themselves to showing pictures to the youth. The technical base was illegally privatized. More than 70 DOSAAF driving schools were under control, and one general managed to appropriate almost all of them. He sold over 30 of them and rented out 40, making a profit from this,” Japarov explained. He also added that state efforts will be directed towards the return of this property.
