Seventy-four delegates attended the event, where they heard a report on the work of the previous president, Ramis Junusaliev. His resignation was accepted unanimously.

Akyilbek Eshimov previously served as a deputy of the Jogorku Kenesh from 2011 to 2015, and then headed the National Federation of Alys Kurosh Wrestling from 2015 to 2022. In recent years, he has been the head of the Kara-Suu Kok-Boru Federation.

It is worth noting that in December of last year, Ramis Junusaliev was detained on suspicion of fraud, and the investigation into this case is ongoing.
