The opening ceremony was led by Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports. In his speech, he emphasized that archery is becoming increasingly popular in Kyrgyzstan at both the national and Olympic levels. This not only contributes to the growth of young athletes' skills but also strengthens the competitive spirit and enhances the international status of the country.
Notable figures at the event included Melis Tobokelov, the director of the Olympic Sports Directorate, and Elnura Osmonalieva, the president of the Archery Federation, as well as coaches and athletes.
The aim of the championship is to promote and develop archery, support national and Olympic sports, engage youth in a healthy lifestyle, and identify and nurture talents among the best athletes in the country.
The competitions are held in accordance with the rules of the World Archery Federation (WA).
