On January 31, the opening of the national archery championship took place in Bishkek, as reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of Kyrgyzstan.
The opening ceremony was held with the participation of Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency. He emphasized that archery, being both a national and an Olympic sport, shows active development in Kyrgyzstan. The holding of such championships contributes not only to the professionalism of young archers but also strengthens the sports spirit and the country's authority on the international stage.

Among those present were notable figures such as Melis Tobokelov, director of the Directorate for Olympic Sports, and Elnura Osmonalieva, president of the Archery Federation, as well as coaches and participants in the competition.
The main goal of the championship is to popularize archery, revive national sports, and develop Olympic disciplines in Kyrgyzstan. An important aspect is attracting youth to an active lifestyle, identifying the best archers in the country, and meeting sports standards to enhance skill levels.

The competitions are held in accordance with the rules established by the World Archery Federation (WA).
