A tennis tournament has started in Bishkek

The opening of a tennis tournament took place in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, featuring young athletes aged 12, 14, and 16 years.

Kazybek Moldazhiyev, the director of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports under the Cabinet of Ministers of the Kyrgyz Republic, attended the opening ceremony. He congratulated the participants on the start of the tournament and emphasized the importance of such events for the development of sports among youth, as well as for instilling discipline, endurance, and a drive for achievement.

The competitions are held in three age categories: U12 (for players born in 2014 and younger), U14 (for players born in 2012 and younger), and U16 (for players born in 2010 and younger). Winners and prize-winners of the tournament will receive awards in the form of cups, certificates, and gifts.

The tournament is organized by the Tennis Federation of the Kyrgyz Republic with the support of the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports and will last until February 1.
