The tennis tournament has started in Bishkek
Today, in the capital of Kyrgyzstan, Bishkek, a tennis tournament for young athletes in the age groups of 12, 14, and 16 years was opened. This was reported by the State Agency for Physical Culture and Sports of the Kyrgyz Republic.
The official part of the event was opened by the director of the agency, Kazibek Moldazhiyev, who congratulated the young participants on the start of the tournament.
Moldazhiyev emphasized in his address the importance of such tournaments for increasing youth interest in sports, shaping character, as well as developing discipline, endurance, and the desire to win. He wished all participants fair competition, successful games, and significant sports achievements.
The competitions are held in the following age categories:
U12 - for participants born in 2014 and younger;
U14 - for participants born in 2012 and younger;
U16 - for participants born in 2010 and younger.
At the tournament, participants who take prize-winning places in each category will be awarded cups, certificates, and gifts.
The duration of the tournament will last until February 1.
