In Bishkek, the 110 kV VL route was cleared to prevent fires
The press service of the Ministry of Energy of the Kyrgyz Republic reported that these actions were aimed at preventing possible fires.
With the arrival of spring, residents of the city often engage in burning dry plants to clear their plots; however, the smoke and hot air from such fires can trigger the shutdown of high-voltage power lines.
In this regard, the Bishkek Electric Networks Enterprise strongly urges citizens to refrain from burning vegetation and to adhere to fire safety standards near electrical facilities.
