The Youth Award named after Chyngyz Aitmatov will be awarded once every three years

The Deputy Minister of Culture, Information and Youth Policy Marat Tagaev announced that the State Youth Award named after Chyngyz Aitmatov will now be awarded not every two years, but once every three years. The corresponding changes were announced at a meeting of the committee of the Jogorku Kenesh dedicated to science, education, innovation, culture, sports, and youth affairs.

In addition, he added that the funding for the award has been increased from 100,000 to 200,000 soms.

“The award will be presented in 11 nominations,” Tagaev noted.
