5000 teachers and doctors will undergo training on personal data protection in 2026

The State Agency for Personal Data Protection of Kyrgyzstan intends to organize a series of extensive training sessions for employees in the education and healthcare sectors. The Deputy Director of the agency, Kylimbek Madalbekov, announced this during the National Forum "Data and Security in the Age of Artificial Intelligence."

Madalkebov noted that in 2026, with the support of the European Union, Expertise France, and the Electronic Governance Academy of Estonia, training is planned to be conducted in each district center of the country, covering 5,000 employees in education and healthcare.

The training sessions will primarily focus on teachers and medical professionals, aiming to enhance the level of protection for the personal data of children and patients.

From 2022 to 2025, the agency has already conducted 74 training sessions, with 3,842 participants. The average number of participants at each event was about 50 people.
