The visit aimed to study the progress of the investment project related to the construction of the second phase of the factory. The total investment volume, including the first phase and subsequent ones, amounts to 40 million dollars.
The second phase of the project includes:
- expansion of existing production capacities;
- construction of additional sewing workshops;
- opening of a modern dyeing workshop.
This initiative will allow for the organization of a complete production process—from the creation of textile fabric to the tailoring of finished products. This will significantly reduce dependence on textile imports and increase the level of localization of production.
As a result of the factory's expansion, over 600 new jobs are expected to be created, which will positively impact the development of the Kara-Suu district and the entire Osh region.
Sabirov emphasized the importance of this project for the light industry of Kyrgyzstan and confirmed the government's readiness to provide comprehensive support for investment initiatives aimed at regional development and job creation.
The factory was opened in 2024, and it was reported that once it reaches full capacity, it plans to export its products to the Middle East, North Africa, the European Union, and the CIS.
