In 2025, 369 passengers in Bishkek were fined for unpaid fares

In 2025, 369 cases were registered in Bishkek where passengers did not pay for their rides on public transport.

According to the city administration, protocols were drawn up against the violators, and each was fined 1,000 soms. As a result, the total amount of fines reached 369,000 soms.

Raids to check fare payment are organized by the Department of Transport Development and Road Transport Infrastructure in collaboration with the municipal enterprise "Bishkek City Transport" and the company "Tulpar".

These checks are conducted daily from 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM and aim to improve discipline among public transport users.

During the raids, administrative measures are applied to those passengers who did not pay for their rides: protocols are drawn up, and fines are imposed in accordance with current legislation.

It should be noted that the initiative to organize these events was announced back in 2024. In the first quarter, training sessions and explanatory work were conducted to inform residents about the rules of using public transport and the necessity of paying fares.

The Bishkek city administration urges all passengers to comply with the rules and pay their fares on time, which in turn contributes to the improvement and stable operation of the city's public transport system.
