On January 30, 2026, a presentation of a new dictionary titled "Russian-Kyrgyz Dictionary of Terms in the Field of International Relations and Diplomacy" was held at the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic. This was reported by the press service of the ministry.
The event was attended by the Minister of Foreign Affairs Jeenbek Kulubaev, as well as the Chairman of the National Commission on the State Language and Language Policy under the President of the Kyrgyz Republic, Melis Murataliev, employees of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, and representatives of the National Commission.
In his speech, Kulubaev emphasized the importance of this publication, highlighting its practical significance. He added that the dictionary would be useful not only for diplomats and civil servants but also for the general public, playing a key role in the systematization of international terminology in the Kyrgyz language.
The minister expressed confidence that the new dictionary would find active application in the work of the structural divisions of the Ministry, as well as in diplomatic missions and specialized universities in the country.
Melis Murataliev, the chairman of the National Commission, in his speech talked about the activities of the commission, focusing on the popularization of the state language within the framework of the doctrine "National Spirit - Global Heights." He also emphasized the role the new dictionary would play in the development of Kyrgyz diplomacy.
Murataliev added that the state language is an important attribute of statehood alongside the coat of arms and flag, and the responsibility for its preservation and development lies with every citizen of Kyrgyzstan. In this regard, he noted that the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Kyrgyz Republic, as a leading authority, has great potential for promoting the Kyrgyz language, culture, and traditions on the international stage.
Participants of the presentation were also introduced to digital projects of the National Commission, such as the "Aitil" platform and the mobile application "Kyrgyzcha O'noy," which are designed to simplify the study of the Kyrgyz language. Additionally, the operation of the portal document.gov.kg was demonstrated, providing governors and citizens access to unified templates of official documents in the state language.

This dictionary contains the main terms and expressions related to international relations and diplomacy, as well as the names of states and international organizations.
