Experts note that in Kyrgyzstan, the sale of nasvay is not regulated by legislation, making it easily accessible. It is packaged in compact containers and does not have a strong odor, unlike cigarettes, which creates an illusion of harmlessness. This circumstance makes nasvay particularly attractive to both adults and youth.
It should be noted that the production of nasvay remains uncontrolled, and its composition includes substances that pose significant health risks.
The BCUZ warns about the destructive effects of nasvay on the body:
- Central Nervous System — increased irritability, distraction, depression, memory deterioration, and frequent headaches;
- Cardiovascular System — narrowing of blood vessels, lack of oxygen, heart rhythm disturbances;
- Gastrointestinal Tract — intoxication, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea, abdominal pain, gastritis, ulcers;
- Reproductive System — decreased production of sex hormones;
- Oral Cavity — unpleasant odor, burning and pain in the gums, tooth decay, ulcer formation;
In children and adolescents, there is a risk of delays and disorders in physical, intellectual, and psychological development.
