A lecture on Japanese art will be held at the IZO Museum

On January 31, the National Museum of Fine Arts named after Gapar Aitiev will host a lecture dedicated to Japanese visual art.

According to the museum's information, during the lecture, participants will be able to immerse themselves in the work of outstanding Japanese painting masters, as well as discuss key moments in the development of art, including movements such as ukiyo-e prints.

“At the event, we will present works of art that reflect the spirit of Japan, ranging from its rich historical heritage to contemporary phenomena such as anime,” the official statement notes.

This lecture is part of a course on the history of world art. The leading lecturer will be art historian and senior researcher at the museum, Akzhibek Beishebayeva.
