In April of this year, the launch of a new international flight from Osh to Kashgar is expected, which will significantly facilitate air communication between the Kyrgyz Republic and China. This was reported by the press service of OJSC “Airports of Kyrgyzstan”.
A recent meeting was held with representatives of the Chinese aircraft manufacturing company COMAC (Commercial Aircraft Corporation of China), where the possibilities for strengthening aviation cooperation between the countries were discussed.
The main topic of discussion was the opening of the Osh — Kashgar route, planned for April 2026.
This flight is intended to improve transportation links between Kyrgyzstan and China, as well as to promote the development of trade, tourism, and humanitarian relations.
During the meeting, it was emphasized that COMAC is a shareholder of Chengdu Airlines, which actively operates aircraft of its own production. Flights on the new route are expected to be carried out using COMAC C909 aircraft.

OJSC “Airports of Kyrgyzstan” views this project as a significant step in expanding the international route network and strengthening ties with leading airlines in China.
The company continues to actively work on expanding the geography of air transportation and improving service quality for the citizens and businesses of Kyrgyzstan.
