The Ministry of Digital Development of Kyrgyzstan has announced the launch of the Tunduk travel project — a new digital platform for tourists.
Several organizations are involved in the development, including the Department of Tourism under the Ministry of Economy, the Tourism Support and Development Fund, and JSC "Tunduk," which will be responsible for the technical side of the project. Based on this, the necessary infrastructure for the application is planned to be created.
According to information provided by the Department of Tourism, 24.kg, the new service will significantly simplify the travel process and enhance safety for tourists visiting Kyrgyzstan.
The Tunduk travel application will operate on the principle of a "single window," allowing users to access government and service-related services, necessary information, and business services. The platform will develop in stages: first, the main functions will be launched, followed by testing and expansion of capabilities.
Safety is one of the priorities of the project. The platform guarantees the protection of users' personal data, secure information exchange between government agencies, and support for tourists in emergency situations.
Tourists will be able to receive information in advance about stay regulations, routes, weather conditions, and access zones, as well as quickly contact emergency services if necessary.
The agency emphasizes that Tunduk travel is not a temporary product, but a long-term digital ecosystem that will evolve alongside the tourism industry in Kyrgyzstan. It will serve as a tool to enhance convenience, safety, and quality of services in the tourism sector.
The goal of the project is to simplify the travel experience for tourists from the moment they enter the country until the end of their trip, as well as to support the development of the tourism business and increase transparency in this area.
