The festival connects science and technology
The application process for the technological competitions of 2026, held as part of TEKNOFEST — the largest aviation, space, and technology festival in the world, has officially begun. This year, the event will take place in Şanlıurfa, a city with a rich history. Young innovators are invited to participate, with prizes totaling 75 million Turkish lira and over 100 million lira in material support. Applications are accepted until February 20 for those who want to turn their ideas into real projects.
TEKNOFEST 2026 will be held from September 30 to October 4 in Şanlıurfa, where science and technology will come together at the GAP airfield with millions of participants at the "zero point of history".
This year, TEKNOFEST will once again host the largest technological competitions in the world, which will include 52 contests and 127 subcategories. Applications are accepted until February 20.
From historical heritage to future innovations: 52 technological competitions at TEKNOFEST in Şanlıurfa!
TEKNOFEST 2026 will feature 52 competitions in various fields, attracting the interest of young innovators: these include competitions in rocket technology, agricultural innovations, drone competitions, as well as contests in air defense systems "Iron Dome", artificial intelligence in medicine, and secure satellite communications.
Additionally, this year new categories are being introduced: competitions in electronic warfare, design and operation of autonomous systems, mining technologies of TEKNOFEST, FPV drones, and "Technologies for the Benefit of Humanity". These new categories will open up new opportunities and practical experience for participants.

Since 2018, TEKNOFEST has served as a platform for innovations and ideas shaping the future, receiving over 4 million applications. In 2026, thousands of young people, from elementary school to graduate school, will be able to participate in competitions and turn their dreams into tangible projects.
The application process for the technological competitions of TEKNOFEST 2026 in Şanlıurfa will close on February 20. All those wishing to become architects of the future and pioneers in technology are invited to submit their applications.
The festival is organized with the support of the T3 Foundation and the Ministry of Industry and Technology of Turkey, as well as leading technology companies, government agencies, media, and universities. TEKNOFEST is preparing to meet technology enthusiasts in Şanlıurfa in 2026.
