According to him, as of today, the total number of Kyrgyz citizens outside the country is 798,000, of which 532,000 are in Russia. Of these, 341,000 people are registered with the migration authorities.
The Deputy Minister also noted that between 2020 and 2021, the number of Kyrgyz citizens in Russia reached 708,000; however, this figure has decreased at present, which is related to changes in the migration routes of Kyrgyz citizens.
Additionally, he mentioned that by 2025, 124,000 Kyrgyz citizens were unable to register for migration accounting for various reasons. Russia has provided foreigners with more than nine months for legalization. As a result, out of the 124,000 who remain unregistered, 34,000 are Kyrgyz citizens.
