According to the data presented at the joint meeting of the deputy groups "Eldik" and "Ala-Too," Deputy Minister of Labor, Social Security, and Migration Bakyt Darmankul uulu reported that currently about 798 thousand citizens of Kyrgyzstan are outside the country.

Of this number, 532 thousand are located in Russia.

“There are 341 thousand Kyrgyz citizens registered with migration authorities in the Russian Federation, while the others do not have a clear status. Some of them are in transit, while others enter and exit regularly. Previously, in 2021-2022, we reported numbers ranging from 700 to 800 thousand,” the deputy minister added.

In addition, he noted that there are currently 34 thousand Kyrgyz citizens remaining in the registry of controlled persons in Russia, while previously their number reached 124 thousand.
