Edil Baisalov presented information on social support for citizens
At a meeting of the parliamentary groups of the Jogorku Kenesh, Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov discussed current measures of social support for the population.
He reported that, in accordance with national legislation, six different types of social payments are being implemented, which overall cover about 300,000 recipients monthly.
The main measures include:
- “Balaga suyunchu” for children — 4,000 soms;
- Payment “Uy-bulogo komok” for low-income families with children aged 2 to 16 — 1,200 soms;
- Support for disabled citizens without pension provision — 6,300 soms;
- Monthly assistance for orphans — 6,000 soms;
- For high-altitude regions: payments for the third and subsequent children up to 3 years old — 3,000 soms for each;
- One-time payment “Bala Berekе” for mothers of many children from high-altitude areas — from 100,000 to 2 million soms depending on the number of children.
Baisalov also noted that in January 2026, payments were assigned for 16,000 children, and the total amount of allocated funds was 47 million soms.
