According to the press service of the Ministry of Culture, the main goal of this renovation is to create a modern sound studio space using Dolby Atmos technology — one of the most advanced surround sound systems widely used in the global film industry.
This project will provide Kyrgyz filmmakers with the opportunity to ensure high sound quality in films that meets international standards, as well as expand the range of possibilities for post-production of both national and joint international projects.
"This project will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of Kyrgyz cinema and enhancing the export potential of domestic film production, as well as attracting foreign partners," the statement notes.
The implementation of the project is carried out within the framework of state policy aimed at developing creative industries and modernizing the material and technical base of cultural institutions.
After the design phase is completed, a phased reconstruction plan for the sound editing building will be developed, as well as the equipping of the studio with modern professional equipment.
