The mayor of Osh instructed to check the legality of the land where the "Kekeev" restaurant operates.
According to the data from the Cadastre Service, the history of this plot is quite controversial. In 2008, it was classified as agricultural land, and then its status was changed to social, including the possibility of building a school. In 2010, about 20 hectares of land were transferred to private ownership, after which the plot could be sold.
Toktorbaev emphasized that this object is located on land originally intended for social needs and demanded a legal examination of all changes regarding the status of the plot.
“If it turns out that the plot was registered with violations or the rules for land transformation were not followed, we will take appropriate measures. Orders have already been issued,” the mayor noted.
Currently, municipal services are conducting an inspection, and based on its results, the mayor's office intends to provide official information.
It is worth reminding that earlier, the municipal services of Bishkek carried out the demolition of the "Kekeev" cafe, which was located in the bed of the Alamedin River.
