A meeting of the collegium took place at the Ministry of Health with the participation of the Deputy Prime Minister
Deputy Prime Minister Edil Baisalov stated that the main reason for the interruptions in the availability of medications in Kyrgyzstan lies in management errors. This statement was made at the collegium dedicated to the results of 2025 at the Ministry of Health.
During the meeting, current issues in the healthcare sector, achieved results, and plans for the upcoming year were discussed.
Baisalov emphasized: "Our work should not be evaluated based on reports and statistics, but should be based on the perception of the people and patients. It is important whether there are available medicines, whether doctors are working, and whether the equipment is functioning. Problems with the supply of medications are a consequence of management failures. We must establish zero tolerance for disruptions in the supply of drugs, especially vital ones, in 2026."
