Gulya Kozhokulova was outraged that banks and exchange offices require certificates when exchanging 100,000 soms.
According to the new guidelines from the National Bank, citizens are required to disclose the source of their funds
At the meeting of the Jogorku Kenesh on January 29, Deputy Gulya Kozhokulova expressed protest against the new requirements introduced by banks and exchange offices, which demand proof of the source of funds when exchanging amounts of 100,000 soms or more.
She noted: "There are such salaries. For example, in the Ministry of Construction, the salary is 500,000 soms. And now, to exchange currency, additional documents must be provided. What is the purpose of such restrictions? Why is privatization being carried out then?"
Kozhokulova suggested that her colleagues consider the possibility of abolishing these requirements.
